You're invited to attend the 20th Annual Del Shannon Memorial Car Show and Summerfest in his hometown of Coopersville, Michigan August 12th, 13th, and 14th, 2010! Family, Friends, and Fans attend this event each year from all over the U.S., Canada, England, Germany, and Australia (among other countries!). This year's agenda:
-Thursday August 12, 2010 from 6PM to 8PM Private Fan club Showing of Del's Memoribilia at the Coopersville Museum on Main Street
-Friday August 13, 2010 at 1:00pm Del Shannon Lunch at Sam's Joint Restaurant (Please RSVP -seating is limited to just 100 people)
-Saturday August 14, 2010 - Del Shannon Car Show all day in downtown Coopersville. There will be train rides, food, and entertainment for both kids and adults. Following the Trophy Ceremony around 4:00pm fans and friends are invited to Sonny Marshall's home for a picnic. Sonny was a good childhood friend to Charlie Westover.
